PHASE CUT DALI: THE SMART CONVERTER FOR TRADITIONAL SYSTEMS
In many existing systems, lighting is controlled by traditional PHASE CUT dimmers, while modern lamps and drivers use digital protocols such as DALI. This difference often leads to compatibility problems, limiting control and causing malfunctions.
Our Newlab PHASE CUT → DALI converter receives the analog signal from traditional dimmers and converts it into a DALI output, allowing analog and digital systems to work together — with no invasive changes to the existing installation.

Smart solutions to easly overcome the challenges of your traditional lighting system:
CHALLENGES
- Your lighting system uses DALI, but only PHASE CUT dimmers are available.
- You are already using PHASE CUT dimmers and would prefer not to replace them.
- You have DALI-compatible devices, but no dedicated automation system in place..
SOLUTIONS
- You can use a PHASE CUT → DALI interface to convert the analog signal into a digital one.
- The existing system can be adapted without structural changes or additional wiring.
- The DALI lighting system remains fully controllable through the existing wall dimmer.
